I'm a yoga teacher based in Larkhall, Lanarkshire, teaching throughout the area. I have practised Ashtanga yoga, a dynamic flow style of yoga for many years. This is the style that my classes are based on.
I started practising Ashtanga yoga as a means to counteract my regular running pratice.
I became aware very quickly of the positive effect yoga was having on all aspects of my life. Together with improved strength and flexiblity, yoga brought me a sense of self awareness and calm.
I am very fortunate to have a wonderful and supportive teacher who helped me to develop a self practice and encouraged me down the fascinating path of yoga teaching. Everyday my self practice helps me develop a greater understanding of what my body needs.
